Prints and Photographs

Most of the pictorial materials in the Museum’s collection are arranged in subject files. Other holdings, relating to particular artists, photographers, individuals, organizations, or the donors of such materials are often cataloged in a single collection called a box lot.

Self-Serve Ready Print File

The self-serve ready print file collection contains copies of many of the Museum’s original photographs and prints. These 8 x10 copy photographs are organized by subject. Ready prints are also available for many photographs from the Hedrich-Blessing Architectural Collection.

Staff Assistance

Research Center staff will assist you during your visit. Staff can provide limited assistance by e-mail. For searches too extensive for staff to undertake, patrons may wish to hire a freelance researcher.
